Really tasty, left out the mellows due to being a veggie. These are the most delicious snacks you have ever come across! My friend made them the other day and I ate sooo many of them feeling slightly sick after as they are fairly rich - not too rich tho, coz I happily ate about 5 of them!!
They are easy to make apparently and you can have them any time - for a party as a snack or just as a treat with your afternoon cuppa!
Have made these as Christmas gifts. Okay recipie, certainly less time consuming than truffles. Very sickly, but to be expected. Would make again but with out the marshmallows as they make the 'snowballs' harder to form and I can't really say that they add anything special to the finished article. These turned out amazing, going to make them again and give some away as Christmas gifts :. These are lovely will definitely make them again.. But probably without the biscuits next time.

There were quite a few ingredients to buy in, but I'm now about to make my third batch! I love chocolate truffles and these make a nice festive alternative. How long would these last for in a plastic sweety bag please? Keep these in in a sealed container in the fridge or plastic sweety bags for up to a week.
I followed the recipe by the book and the truffles didn't work as they were too soft and squidgy. To be fair the taste was good but any suggestions for the truffles being firmer? Thanks for your question.
Is it possible that there was too much syrup in your mix? We use 15ml measuring spoons for tablespoon measures when making up our recipes. Add in the sweetened condensed milk and stir. Repeat the same process with the other balls. Coat the coconut balls in the remaining shredded coconut even more if needed.
Place in a little paper baking cup and let cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
