Acetaminophen is the most common cause of acute liver failure in the US. It has been estimated to cause three times as many cases of liver failure as all other drugs combined.
While the serious problems usually come from overdoses, in babies and small children the dose that can cause harm may be not many times more than the recommended dose. Most dosage charts that parents see list a dose based on age, or suggest that parents ask a doctor for the dose.
And dosage concentrations have varied in various formulations. Together, this confusion has led to overdosing and to fatalities in several dozen healthy young children over the last decade. I would think that is ridiculous….. Not giving a baby tylenol, no sleep….
Still a little baffled! I agree completely. My son is 15 months old. There has been times he was in bad pain. I would like that explained to me.
How is he not getting pain relief if there is that much improvement? Who have these so called trials been done on? What parent in their right mind would subject a small child to a drug trial. I would like to know how the people conducting these trials collected information from young children that are not able to verbalize what they are feeling.
There are so many variables with children other than pain making them cranky. Ie: missed naps, boredom, missing parents. Until I feel that there is more reliable testing I will continue to use Tylenol for fever and pain relief. Your child is the drug trial! Ask for the safety studies and while your at it, ask the CDC for the safety study on the current vaccine schedule. But by all means, continue on!
grandaweek.co.uk/theater.php The results are not the same. I went though every meetings agenda for this year in both of the committees mentioned in the article, with no mention of acetaminophen at all.
Joint cases are always more fun because it gives the show a bit of cohesiveness. It is completely unexpected that BOTH boys were kidnapped. Through it all, Athena handles herself in the best way she knows how; while Maddie comes into her own and her abilities. The show manages to highlight two very different women in equally empowering ways.
In all honesty, this story manages to save the show. What did you think of this episode of ? Share your thoughts in the comments below! Follow us on Twitter! Subscribe to our newsletter here! It was still a bit too tight for either Hubby or my liking so we made doa there was not going to be any men there.
Alhamdulillah when we got there, there was non! As I was just about to take my abaya off I saw two men so ppfftt, there goes my chance.
I always thought I had the coolest job ever. Wait, before I write more I should first tell you what my job is and its description.
I am a muslim wife and a stay at home mum. I stress on the word muslim because in Islam, wives are given some ridiculously amazing financial rights from her husband. Specifically when we get married, a husband should give his wife a marriage gift or Mahr and this will be her own property; the wife will get full maintenance from her husband eg food, clothing, housing, education, recreation, medication etc; and even if the wife is rich, she does not have to spend a single penny for her husband or family unless if she wants to.
My sister works for a magazine company, and you know all these media people, they always get free things! Get this though, this is the awesome bit, they get to fly to Bangkok to try it out during a spa session. My sister is getting paid to fly to a foreign country and to be pampered!! Everything is being paid for; accommodation at a 5 star hotel, flight ticket. Coolest job ever! Oh to be in a spa again!
But thank You Allah for my perfect perfect baby and my wonderful husband, mashaAllah! Whats mine is mine, and whats yours is ours! Thank you sayang. Leave a comment posted in family , sisterly love , wifey tales.
